Have you ever heard of mini Nubian goats? No? Well, you're in for a treat! These pint-sized goats are a delightful addition to any farm or homestead. Let's dive into what makes them so special. Oh by the way that cute goat in the photo - that's Rosie and she just a two month old kid. She will get bigger than that so they don't stay that mini.

What exactly are Mini Nubian Goats?

Mini Nubian goats are a cross between Nigerian Dwarf goats and Nubian goats. They inherit the best qualities from both breeds - the smaller size comes from the Nigerian Dwarf and the floppy ears and colorful markings from the Nubian. Think of them as the perfect goat mashup!

Why are they so popular?

These little goats are not just cute faces. They are known for their sweet and friendly personalities, making them great companions for both adults and children. Plus, their milk is rich and delicious, perfect for making cheese and soap. Talk about multi-talented goats!

Do they make good pets?

Absolutely! Mini Nubian goats are social animals that thrive on human interaction. They love to be petted and will follow you around like a loyal puppy. Just be prepared for their mischievous antics - they are known for their playful nature and love of climbing on anything they can find.

What do they eat?

Well, they don't eat everything like people think. However, they love to use their mouth to feel whatever peaks their curiosity. Our goats have full access to pasture. Hay at all times and grain. I know, I know giving grain is very controversial. They love and we provide it. They do not get very much grain but it is given as a little treat. It's not their main course. They also get fresh fruit and vegetables occasionally. OHHH and they LOVE fig neutrons. They will climb all over you for a cookie.
