Are you tired of getting down and dirty in the garden, only to end up with a sore back and aching muscles? Well, fear not, fellow green thumbs! This year, it's time to say goodbye to traditional tilling and hello to the wonderful world of container gardening. That's right, no tilling for us this year. We are switching to containers only!

Why Say Goodbye to Tilling?

Let's face it, tilling can be a real pain in the you-know-what. It's back-breaking work that leaves you feeling like you've just run a marathon (and not in a good way). Plus, all that tilling can disrupt the delicate ecosystem of your soil, causing more harm than good in the long run. So why not skip the hassle and opt for a more convenient, less strenuous gardening method?

Container Gardening: The Way to Grow

Container gardening is like the lazy gardener's dream come true. No need to break out the heavy machinery or spend hours tilling the soil. With containers, you can simply fill them up. We are using compost from the barn.  Rich, nutritious soil to grow the best plants. Not everyone has access to goat manure but composting your vegetable scraps, weeds, eggshells and so much more can be just as good.

Benefits of Container Gardening

Not only is container gardening easier on your back, but it also offers a whole host of other benefits. You can plant as soon as its warm enough. I used to have to wait for the Ohio spring rains to stop so we could till but not anymore. Not as many weeds either. I can't wait to get started this year.
