Vintage Carved Wooden Duck Spring Bobble Head Broach Japan

Made in Japan wooden duck wearing a hat broach pin. 

Amazing vintage broach found while going through vintage costume jewelry. We found this gem going through a great aunts boxes stored away in the basement. The back is marked Japan although the "J" has faded away. See photos. Believed to be from the 1940 or '50s.
